Gregory Allen Badersnider is a writer based in Rockford, Michigan, whose work captures the meaning found in ordinary moments. With a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Central Michigan University, Gregory spent more than forty years in the insurance industry before shifting his focus toward writing and personal projects.
He met his wife while in college, and they married in 1982. Together they raised three sons, now grown with families of their own, and enjoy a lively circle of grandchildren. His debut book, Picking Up Sticks: A Midterm Project, reflects his belief that life’s most valuable lessons are often discovered in everyday encounters.
Beyond his career and writing, Gregory values the simple joys of family, faith, and time outdoors. He describes his greatest accomplishments not as professional milestones, but as “marrying up the first time, raising three sons with character, and learning that the best moments are free.”
While still active in the health insurance field, Gregory dedicates much of his time to adventures and experiences that fuel his storytelling. His philosophy is straightforward: each day offers the chance to make a difference—not only for ourselves, but for those around us.
Whether through a story about kindness on a city street, a reflection from his travels in Africa, or a memory of raising his boys, Gregory invites readers to slow down and recognize the significance of the small things. His writing is rooted in humility, authenticity, and the belief that connection is what truly endures.
